Thanks, putting a little bird down in an urban area is just asking for bad S**t BW did not need to put assets at risk, we are former soldiers and that is why we put helos on site for any US guy that needs evac. Just being a bad guy in a bad world. I am getting tired of having to explain the good work we do. I saw four of my guys hang and burn on a bridge, these "people" are animals. Yea,some of the best pilots are hired by BW...but, honestly I've put a blackhawk down in a place not much larger surrounded by buildings and wires...still, great job!

My guess would be that it was probobly the closest bird in the area to respond. I would compare it to a police call here in the US, the first squad car on scene is the closest.

Most people who bash blackwater are not well informed they think that anyone can join and that it is made up from a bunch of rednecks with guns. In reality all the employees of blackwater are required to have 6 years of active duty 2 years of which have to be high risk security detail. and yes that was some damned good flying

Any idea why blackwater carried out the cesevac, and why it wasnt carried out by us forces. I remember wtching the little birds leaving from LZ Washington in the green zone and they certainly knew how to fly to the capabilities of the aircraft.

In this ambush polish BOR (polish secret service) officer was killed in action. Ambasador is ok.
