  • When checking amp ...

    When checking amp draw, you can also select the MIN/MAX mode. The meter displays the maximum, or minimum, amperage reading. This mode is helpful when reading compressor amp draw at start-up.

    Also, you can use Fieldpiece's Electronic Handle. It turns any Fieldpiece accessory head (like the amp clamp) into an individual tool/meter. It only costs $25. The only drawback is that I have to keep a minimum of three spare 9V batteries on hand at all times.
