A little clip I made for someone showing the thumb technique I use on Bass.

I use my thumb together with my index and middle fingers while making rhytmic taps on the pickups with the palm of my hand to give a groove this percussive triplet kind of feel. I also use the taps to emulate a snare drum.

I find this technique to be very similiar to fingerpicking techniques I've seen here on youtube
