We do what we want for our interests. I'm fine with it really. Its how capitalism should be. Just don't try to spew that We mind our own business and they force war on us crap. If so We wouldn't have been in Desert Storm. If we had reason to be in Desert Storm we should have been in Burma. Also we weren't needed in WW2. It was the Russians that won that war. Also the few countries we help does not balance out the hundreds we rob of resources. Think Indians V 2.0. America is still up.

Denbagus even tho you wont give what I say a seconds thought I'm bored enough to respond. What were we doing in Vietnam? Just minding our own business? What were we doing in Cuba? Just minding our own business? You need to realize we are the assholes of the world. We find a way to spin it into looking like we aren't the aggressors every time. WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Mexican war, Desert Storm, Revolutionary war and more. God knows how many small Countries Corrupt Governments we supported.

Britain and the rest of Europe would have lost if had we stayed home. 1917 We didn't have to get involved. The Lusitania was carrying munitions and armaments. There is Dec 8th 1944. For no reason, Hitler declared war on America in a fit of madness. The Axis treaty did not require that dumb move! Americans would have stayed home and fought Japan. Public opinion favored Germany and neutrality. Lindberg was leader of largest pro German group. Result Germany and America are nuclear superpowers.

Yes, after all, France just keeps denying it! Last I heard they said in 1917 and 1944 - "Well as long as your here anyway perhaps take care of that bad Kaiser and Hitler fellow - Belgium, Norway, Holland, Greece and Denmark expressed some mild interest if you happen to be nearby." Oh pardon, perhaps you could leave us some spare Nuclear Subs, missiles, aircraft, and could you garrison 100K soldiers in case the Soviets start to wander "We didn't ask, or expect to pay of course for 50 + years."

I wonder if you don't know. Majority of our history up until World War II was to not get involved. Even then we only got involved when WE were attacked.

Sometime, the people want the US to help, but the government act like "please do not help", the government try to act "coy" and "nationalistic"--look at Darfur, Somalia and others. I do agree, I do not want the US to help, let them sorted them self, well, we see Hitler, Stalin, Tojo and Pol Pot, next time, if they or you need help---well, fence for yourself, pal, Tsunami, bad guys or others. Good luck and enjoy your day. Do not blame the US all the time. Start to blame yourself and your country.

Well, well, talking about history--The Germans minding WW2, the Japan in WW3, the Soviets the Communism hegemony, the British rule the others previous century, the China panicking to supply its energy went around the world including Africa and South America. I can go on and on pal, but who is counting. A small country like Norway, Switzerland, and others live from minding their business, if something happen---who they call pal--America again. We are tired of helping others pal. WW1, WW2 etc.

The US is a country minding our business, until others tried to force fed their ideas to us. Well, we must face the Hitler--we won, facing the Commie and won, and now the bad guys and we hope we will win, if not, our grandchildren will get clobbered. We are people of the USA are resolute. If other bad people told me many wrongs with our country, well, well, well, go ahead move overseas, and try to get accepted in other country. Please do not comeback, there is no jet to fly to the USA. Peace.
