My Old Cars - SRT-4 and Lightning

dodge srt 4. F**k S**k a 6cyl mustang could wipe the floor with that thing!! F**k it has 4 doors man! an srt-4 is a want to be ricer! that even worse than F**king rice!

Well yeah its just thats what everyone told me but very true good superchargers are very hard to make.

they arnt crap, its hard to make good super chargers, they are very complex. but, im shure other companys make better SC. but i prefer turbos.

Mr. Evon, I would recommend adding speed holes to the hood and both rear quarterpanels. This should pick you up a solid 245-247hp and will take a good 12 seconds off your quarter mile time.

How can I make my Tacoma fast like that?

NeXtras, my L was an 03 and had a 6# lower pulley swap and a custom JLP tune...I think it was pushing a little over 380hp, then again I never had it dyno'd, it was running on crappy 91 at full weight all the time.

Dan, I don't know that I'd say the SC is crappy, but swapping the stocker for a KB or even a whipple is fairly common. For much less money, more people will have their stock SCs bored out.

I hear the superchargers lightnings have are crap. Is that true?

Actually the SRT-4 is easily fater than the L, so much more lighter. And the only thing bad about the lightning, its a 1999 or 2000 so its not the newer egine that pushes 380hp stock. Its only puching 360 HP stock and its a little higher up than the newer ones, which are about 3/4in lower

I will admit, had I invested a little more into the lightning it would have been faster, but I had done quite a bit to the SRT, and I can certainly say it was a quicker car...I am not making a sweeping generalization, simply speaking about my own cars.
