Back in 1934, Harry J Anslinger told the US government (privately) that Cannabis made "negros seek relations with white women", and that "reefer made darkies feel as though they are white", and it became illegal to halt immigration.

Does it ever say that the term "loose tongue" actually means to gossip? That's open to interpretation as far as I'm concerned. Not specifically Catholic - Leviticus 19:16 says that "לשון הרע" ("Loose tongue", ie, gossip) is a sin.
