Sailing from Oahu to Hawaii on Pearson Triton 28' Sailboat, December 2007 in a storm. I could finally brace myself enough to hold my little camera toward the stern, water spraying over the bow and sides... exhilarating adventure!

I agree totally! WTF? I've been out there in the wet and knarly on a passage-making Allied Seawind Ketch...and to me this looks like standard ocean swells on a pretty fair, blue-sky day. Still don't want to take even standard ocean swells beam-on, though. This is not to say that at some other point in their voyage they didn't see heavy weather, but I wonder...as they wouldn't have called this a storm then, though. Tridents are good, safe sea-boats. Good point about the winch handle BTW.

Maybe a storm for girls. Looked like comfortable passage making. Nobody makes videos in a real storm. Remember to remove the wynch handel after taking turns.

    pmoorexl is right - it's a Triton, which means it's 28.5 feet, not 27.
