  • 3) The story you ...

    3) The story you said appears in Uttar Kand and it is Bhrigu's curse which caused separation of Sita and Rama.

    4) Lav and Kush were all praise for Rama -- they never questioned Rama as such. These bigot socialists should be kicked out.

  • Ok a bunch of ...

    Ok a bunch of things:

    1) Uttar Ramayan can be a later addition to Ramayana (and it makes a lot of sense from lingual standpoint).

    2) Lav Kush only sang the Ramayana till Lanka Kand :-). This is as per Valmiki Ramayan. So these stupid movie songs should be censored.

  • I recall reading ...

I recall reading something to the effect that Sri Sitarama's separation from Mother Devi Sita was necessary in order to uphold a curse that a sage had laid on Vishnu, which was that He would suffer the pangs of separation from Lakshmi.

The curse was laid due to the actions of Lord Vishnu, which caused the sage to be separated from his wife.
