This is great footage that I got from the moment the shark grabbed the bait til me landing it.
Thats the reason I hate the ocean, sharks.

By dubran [Affiliate User] 1214048586 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGreat video bro! I would like to know what line you used. Did you use the leader as in your previous video? Thank goodness you let that female take over the camera! :) Great work!
By fhpd350 [Affiliate User] 1213864266 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI meant that about most of the sharks caught not all of them. I don't think you know more then me. There are probally people who know more then you or me. And I know a lot about sharks. The people who know more about sharks then us are marine bioligist. They study sharks and know things before we do so they know more then you or me.
By generalgrievous600 [Affiliate User] 1213543414 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI know more about sharks than anyone. These sharks take off, and how do I know? We tag em and catch the same ones we tagged. So your wrong bud.
By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1213543040 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThey look fine but they uallsally are tired one you let them go because they put a lot of energy into not trying to get pulled on land. So after a while they just stop swimming and drown in the water[ sharks need to swim to get water past there gills to breath] or thry get attacked by an other animal and don't have the energy to fight so they die. I know what I'm talking about because I am a shark expert.
By generalgrievous600 [Affiliate User] 1213536653 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveNot at all, they all swim off and are perfectly fine. I've never had a shark wash on the beach after I caught one.
By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1213455398 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveStill after you let the shark go it uallsally dies from drowing because its tired because it gave a lot of its energy to try to get away from your fishing pole.

By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1213436385 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMaybe on a boat, but not on the surf. I know someone who fishes with 30lb PowerPro and he loses a lot of sharks from tail whacks.
By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1213436358 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat shark was released, along with every other shark I catch
By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1213436299 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt's illegal to kill sharks!!!!!!!!!!! there a endangered species!!!!!!!!!

By jro1465 [Affiliate User] 1213421056 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removenice job, honestly you dont need huge gear to fish for sharks, you can bring them in easily with 20 or 30 lb test, its the rig that really matters
By jro1465 [Affiliate User] 1213420949 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveJust cast it lol
I use a single circle hook, and my rigs are usually 7ft long.
how do you go with casting 65lb line? whats your set up on the line, single hook or two? how longs your trace?
By startwiththeballs [Affiliate User] 1213333738 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelooks like a good time, it's fun to match the tackle to the fish. I got dumped with a 9/0 at Hatteras fishing for Blacktips in the middle of the day (most likely a Bull). Since then I've been using 12 & 14/0s,overkill for Blacktips but the big Bulls & Hammerheads don't get away as easy.
By kas7227 [Affiliate User] 1212428775 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI have other gear for those sharks. Most of the time at the beaches I fish when the blacktips are around, those types of sharks aren't around.
By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1212382641 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhy are you using spinning gear for sharks? I know it's only a blacktip, but what if you hooked up with a big hammerhead, lemon or bull you would get smoked.
By kas7227 [Affiliate User] 1212351357 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveProbably around 80lbs and high 5's in length.
By BlacktipH [Affiliate User] 1208773795 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removenice work. That fight and land couldn't be easy in the surf.
What do you figure the measurement and weight was?
This is in florida. I was using a Fin-Nor OFS9500 spooled with 65lb PowerPro on a 13ft Breakaway HDX rod.
