yeah i know, "minimal sprays". it still seems to happen regardless though which is a shame. do you have a machine to cut the acetate?

Since the Acetate won't absorb any paint that can happen, but if it the chances are you're using too much paint.

Yes, however, I have had that problem. You just have to be confident that a little paint goes a long way - it does.

ive used that before but i had the problem of the acetate getting proper mucky even though i was using minimal sprays, it seemed to end up on the back a lot which fucked the piece up, you have any similar problems?

you there is dis thing called graffix its in most art store but not like michales ya its extreme hard to get used to an exacto im not toatally used to it yet but just keep practicing

This is a great video but I have to tell you all the shaking around absolutely ruined the tutorial part. I think people would like to actually see your work. :)

Yeah its hard to find acetate, i had to order i from the net. No art store in phoenix has it really. I just got an exacto knife and im getting used to it but it doesnt cut how i want it too.

Yup. I get it from my local art store (Blue Rooster in Los Feliz / Los Angeles) for a few dollars / giant sheet. It never gets soggy or wears out like paper or card stock. Plus, for stencils that you don't need sharp lines on you can use a stencil burner (as opposed to a razor) which melts the plastic. It's much easier to do sharp corners.

One question, was that clear piece you put over it acetate?
