    There's no need to be condescending here. I wasn't being derogatory, I was merely stating a fact. I am perfectly aware that they use dollars, I did spend quite a lot of them while I was there. To compare to other neighbouring countries, a bottle of Tiger beer in Singapore could be around $10 (£5, universally) whereas in Bangkok, a bottle of Singha is around 40 baht (60-70 pence).

    2 things: they use dollars, not pounds
    and in singapore, all the food is awesome, it just depends on where you get it, like, you could get a coffee for $1 at a food court whereas you could also the exact same coffee that costed $5.60 at a cafe
