omg, why are they all turning to chrisitianity? its just as bad as hinduism, islam and all other oppressive religions. i feel the dalit struggle, as my peopel have also been classed as the lowest of the low based on theri skin colour, and enslaved, but this was by christians. christianity was used to make us forget our tru spirituality, and they massacred millions of afrikans in the name of spreading christianity, so chrisitianity wont help these people. they can only help themselves. peace

these "upper caste" people are morons. this isnt true Hinduism. they ruin our relgion. Karma is based on good and bad actions. so do these "upper caste" people not realize that they are getting bad karma for hurting others? if they say these Dalits are suffering cause of their past sins, it is the duty of the "upper caste" to help them. this is a man made "religion" no god would support this or any suppression of any people.

i think the caste system is horrible, but i dont believe it is caused by Hinduism. its caused by people who want to oppress others and use their religion as an excuse. Although many Hindus subscribe to the belief that one is born into a certain caste this belief is not supported by their scriptures. The caste system in India has degenerated into a system falsely recognizing men born in Brahmin families as Brahmins, even though they don't exhibit the qualities of Brahmins.

just like america,,women are exploited! just like everywhere! what is the point? they are nt half as sinful or hypocritical as christians. at least hindus accept responsibility for their sins[karma]. they dont wander aimlessly trying to fugure out why they are suffering..again ,i ask,,what is the point of this video?

The dalits should convert to Islam or Buddhism. Christianity is also a racist religion, they have the curse of Ham story. Islam is the religion which preaches true equality. The rich and the poor worship in the same Mosque. People of any race can freely worship in any Mosque. Buddhism has no class or race distinctions. Both religions are the religions of Asia, and they are universal religions.

Turning from "Hinduism" to "Christianity" would be no different since many Racists within the Christian Religion still accept the "Curse of ham" story as truth.

"Dalits" being cursed by God sounds like the "curse of ham" story that has been told to many non-white people all over this planet.

The Hindu caste system is the sole reason for majority of the ills of Indian society. Any proud, concerned Hindu would hang their head in shame and try to fight this oppressive system. Bust most "upper-caste" Hindus are unconcerned, cowardly, sadistic wimps who love to torture and oppress the weak. They actually WANT the Dalits to remain poor and oppressed, and the caste system to continue.

before 1960 the african americans cannot travel or sit with the whites or cannot drink the water from the same tap...the racism existed..even today exists..
caste or casteim will be history in India in a decade, but racism in US will exist for next 100 years for sure.
India had a Dalit president, does US have a black president...not yet ready for a black president yet LOL..talk abt hypocracy.
