so a twinturbo is 2 normal sized turbo's? no im not a fan of turbos... im more a compressor guy, since thats where you need the power on the street, if you dont want loads of speedingtickets :)

You don't seem to understand that a 4 cyl engine cannot move enough air to spool 2 turbos of significant size to make good power. They have to be very very small which means that while it may spool fast they do not flow enough air to make big power numbers. If you are more impressed with a fast spooling slow bike then great.

think you have missed the point of twinturbo... yes, twinturbos are small thats no secret. they are smaller so that they can rev up faster. 1 big turbo will be slower to rev than 2 turbos of half the size

Lag is more of a function of the engines ability to produce exhaust energy than anything else. Key is to find a turbo the engine can spool efficiently. A 1.3L 4 cyl engine doesn't produce enough exhaust energy to spool 2 decent size turbos efficiently so they are probably using very small turbos with S**t flow rates. This set up is probably more laggy and has S**t top end power. A single dual ball bearing turbo will spool quickly, flow lots of air and produce lots of top end power on this engine
