its not the best movie but its def worth watching

Great movie. If you liked Dr. Strangelove, Full Metal Jacket, this film is a great addition to films that paint the reality, stupidity, and futility of war and America's imperial foreign policy.

The workings of the mind. Nobody (not even most pschychologists) know how your mind works in the first place. It doenst matter what the movie "says" it is the film footage combined with emotive programming that leaves you "imprinted" with a certain emotional programm. Pictures with emotion stay in your memory. The reasoning behind the movie is done by your conscious mind not the subconsious. (that is a satire of warmangering profiteers...)

I should note I was commenting on Kernchen013's comment that this is propaganda, softening the awfulness of the Iraq war. It is actually the opposite.

you clearly haven't seen the movie; it's a political satire addressing the most base aspects of war profiteering. It's actually a condemnation of Bush foreign policy; you can find many of the facts in Naomi Klein's The Shock Doctrine, parts 5 and 6 of the book.

One big thing the movie got me to thinking about is "Finding a new strategy on how to stop the war." Maybe humor is a useful part of the puzzle? Is that the hidden message? The movie sure did inspire me to laugh & think. See my review on You tube: paul8kangas

The music & Cusack's look is so "Blues Brothers", hehe! Can't wait for this movie. It has the quirky-clever Cusack stamp all over it.
