    It's interesting that not only did somebody advise Astrud to wear that dress and hairstyle, at the time, it was good advice and probably helped album sales considerably. The direction was probably as good as it could get at the time.

    And for the time, this was a cutting edge "video", as long as you understand that it probably cost $100K or more (of 1964 dollars) to generate this music video.
