I've got about all the spyro games even on ps1, and this is the best one so far.

Omg... i want 2 play that so bad. it only took me two weeks to beat a new beginning and im stuck on Eternal night... i managed to get through the fleet, which i think went on WAY too long and now i just got to that stiupid dude with the parrots on his shoulders. i've been playing Eternal Night about 4 to 6 months already *sigh* depressing. Eternal nights way harder than A New begining... At least Dawn of the dragon seems less challenging. Lol :P

I am in no way saying that these games S**k really, they don't. I am not even able to say it, because I know particularly nothing about these new games.
That's why I am here to see how it is now.
Is it still all about fighting? The storyline seems much deeper than before, and it seems pretty good, too.
Should I purchase these games? Are they the same as The new beginning with the run-fight-run -thingy? Or have I missed something big in The new beginning?
I hope no one was angered by this!

Oh, man...
I've played Spyros ever since the first game was released. I've got them all, except the GA-games and these last two newest ones.
Truth to be told, I was shocked about The new beginning, and I haven't even finished it. It was kind of.. a disappointment. Run, fight, run, fight, train, fly, run, fight. No more exploring, freedom and various different things, which made it the Spyro I loved.
But, the reason I'm saying this is that I am trying to change my opinion. Or update it. >

It's trilogy so it would be good to play Eternal Night. There's some details you should know from the previous game. For example, if you wanted to know why Spyro and Cynder are in the crystal or how did Spyro know Hunter was looking for him.

do i need to play eternal night to get the story. i only played the new beginning, so do i need to play eternal night before this?
