A tribute to the greatest fighter jet ever conceived and built, the Grumman F-14 Tomcat. We will miss the F-14 taking to the skies to protect the US homeland. It might be retired, but it will never be forgotten. Still, it's a damn shame that this mighty warbird had to go.

    That part of the video was probably taken during Fleet Week. They always anounce what manuver is taken place at every air demo but the guy on the mic was talking at a bad time just before the sonic boom. Great video brings back some great memories.2000 - 2004 VF-101 Grim Reapers.

    the f 14 was and will always be remembered as the fastest jet in the navy ever made and willl haunt the skies with its amazing yet terrifing mach 2.5 also it will always be remembered as the greatest fighter of all times our enemies better cower at our feet when its in the air. i got to sit in the jolley rogger number 1 plane with the actual pilot he was amazing and i thanked him for all of his efforts LONG LIVE THE F-14 TOMCAT!!!!!
