he should have been tasered earlier.. attacking a cop thats armed has to be the most stupid thing i see on these kind of videos - you see guys punching cops holding tasers directly at them - its just stupid: he deserved every second - he should obey the law - and to all the taser protesters when your in danger and the police need to subdue a criminal you expect the police to do everything to help you dont you?

Yeah this cop actually did his job right. i think he let the guy do too much chasing him like that.

ROFL... that idiot deserved every second of electrical subdual. Chasing an officer around like that will get you a lot worse in most places. I'm surprised the officer was so overly forgiving. That guy would have had his butt on the ground and tased much earlier almost anywhere else.

Cro Magnums THINK. Neanderthals do really stupid S**t , like challenging police when they know (or should know) the police have night sticks, guns & now stun guns. If they wish to challenge, the court is a better option than getting tazed or having your head bashed in.

I hate most cops, but this guy was actually professional, and did not apply an ounce of force more than he had to. The drunk escalated it entirely.

for starters, the WRAP is a much, much safer restraint device, altho a case such as this would require more than one officer to use it (which therefore applies to the regrettable abundance of multi-officer tasings of non-violent offenders)...

for this case i would like to see a "netting" device invented that could be shot from a "gun" and tangle the offender's limbs to the point where he could be cuffed...

As a Taser Instructor and Police Officer, I would like to know what better device exists? This deputy had two other choices, hands on fighting or deadly force. He did an outstanding job. Please share the "safer" tool!

my mom has been a cop for years and i hardly hate her, but i am 100% against tasers because i see them doing more harm than good...safer restraint devices exist & more can be designed, but these torture devices are just too much fun for the sadistic...

admittedly, this was an unusually reasonable cop, but he needs a safer weapon...

yea why dont we just kick these criminals outta the country? if you screw up in any other part of life you get kicked out (home, apartment, fired from job etc.) why not apply that to criminals n' boot them right out the dam country?
