St. Maarten is indeed a Carribean island. It is a member of the Dutch Antilles group of islands. It is divided into a French part and a Dutch part named very originally St. Martin and St. Maarten.

So the place because of the Dutch connections is very popular among Dutch tourits, therefore the KLMs. Lufthansa probably too flies there, not sure.

St. Maarten is a part of the Netherlands. So a lot of Dutch tourists fly there for vacation. That's the reason you see so many KLMs.
