This is my second slideshow about LOTSW. I´m a German fan and I love this show, Cleggy (Peter Sallis) is my favourite.
THE SHOW IS RUNNING FOR MORE THAN 35 YEARS AND NOW THE BBC WANTS TO AXE IT!!
Please save LOTSW and email to Mr Mark Thompson (mark.thompson@bbc.co.uk )!!
I hope you will enjoy the slides. I spent some hours to find the videos, convert and cut them and put them together. Unfortunately I couldn´t find any other music, so if it gets on your nerves, feel free to turn the volume off ;-)!
--- Update: Summer Wine is safe for another series, filming starts this summer! I´d like to thank everybody who emailed or wrote to the BBC! :-)

  • Great stuff - so ...

Great stuff - so nicelly put together and so affectionate, which I guess is how most of us feel. Let's hope this isn't the end, but if it is we won't let LOTSW be forgotten - Cleggy for Prime Minister.....

  • Thanks! Yes, I ...

    Thanks!
Yes, I think it´s a disgrace to let it end like this! The BBC boasts having the "longest running comedy series in the world", and suddenly they simply drop it. What kind of attitude is that?
And I still don´t know the reason... They should be proud of the show, not axing it!
My sympathy goes to the cast (and crew). What does the BBC think they´re doing?
