Don't underestimate her. She's pretty scary in her ability to play on people's fears and basest beliefs. As she's gone more off message her audiences have become more extreme. She has little allegiance to the truth and what she spouts is largely nonsense, but there is a segment of society that is eating it up. Think post-WW1 Germany: given the right environment she could be a real problem. I grieve for the direction of the Republican Party. Used to be the Dems were the dangerous idiots.

This bitch has no future in the Republican party, with her absolute refusal to follow simple campaign rules. What's sexist is to applaud such anarchist behavior from socialist Palin. Palin is the reason that women will never inherit the White House.

She was the mascot, and is now the scapegoat.

This must be demeaning for her. Hopefully she'll land a talk show, to blast politicians and media, left and right alike, thus resuscitate her reputation, putting that spunk to work for real.

Either that or she will be the female "Bill Cosby" of endorsements, in commercials for Max Factor, Ralph Lauren, etc.
