Best villian ever, and him in Batman TAS. was great, i think ledger will be great too.

When I was a kid and I watched Batman, I secretly cheered for the Joker to beat Batman.

it would be fantastic if they made him EXACTLY as he was origionally but somehow I doubt that will ever happen =(
Thats why I pay more attention to his personallity than the way he looks. A good interpretation of his personality is the best we can hope for.

Now, if the scar across Heath's face would open up to a wider mouth, then he'd have something...

all Ive seen him in is the trailer and I thought he was pretty scary in that.

Joker is my most favorite villian, no other villian even from MARVEL can be better.

I LOVE the Joker!!

Midnight Ride is the first one that comes to mind. But that's more obscure, perhaps. The Priest from Children of the Corn was very convincing and not one of his more "Manic" roles. The Big Red One is an amazing array of emotions. It's true, he's been in some corny roles, definately, and he does tend to play his characters a little flat(I've never seen him play a cop very well) - but he does have a unique way of drawing you into certain characters. He has great charisma.

Just beceause you haven't seen him in anything else doesn't mean he hasn't done anything else. He's a brilliant actor - and trust me, even if he's short, he could pull off a Joker that would leave you spitless.

I'm in the minority in this opinion, but Heath's Joker so far seems laughable and flaccid. Not once did he inspire fear in me, and in several instances, I thought "Aw, how cute!". I do agree that Mark Hamill's (and Paul Dini's, I suppose) was the best so far.

They need to bring this joker back. I don't like the one on The Batman.
