Every US Marine is a Rifleman

it's not hard to understand even if your a nurse your a rifleman lol

it means that every marine weather he or she is a combat infantry soildier,an administrator or refueling aircraft,is trained as a rifleman for combat first & foremost

Not really true just b/c a low composite score will land you in infantry, most join for other reasons

50 Marines whom completed 3 weeks of rifle training (cooks, electricians, ect... LOL VS
50 Soldiers whom completed 16 weeks of rifle training (all 11b Infantry) (who has trained in over 200 combat tactics...

Does anyone see the difference?

Hey, im planning on joinning the infantry, but id also like to do sniper training aswell, i dont care if it lands me a good job when i get out, just aslong as i get to fight for and serve my country

i got a 79 and im going 0311. just think of it this way, many people who go 03 may just be doing it because theyre not really qualified to do much else. so for those of us who have higher scores, we may be more likely to get into cooler specialties like marine recon or scout snipers. if you want to be a rifleman, do it. i leave in 10 months for boot. good luck. semper fi
