The 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo was taken from "Robin Hood", "Dumbo", "The Sword in the Stone", "Alice in Wonderland", "Bambi", "The Little Mermaid", "Peter Pan", "The Jungle Book", "The Rescuers Down Under", "Fantasia", an alternative 1992 print of "101 Dalmatians" (without the previews) and an early video processing error copy of "Pocahontas". NOTE: The cut-short version of this logo without Sorcerer Mickey appeared on the 1991 VHS of "Robin Hood" twice with and without the voiceover saying "Look for these animated Disney classics on videocassette!". It can also be seen with the same voiceover on the 1991 VHS of "The Brave Little Toaster", even though the film wasn't exactly released in the Walt Disney Classics series. The full version of this logo, however, is retained on the 1991 laserdisc release of "Robin Hood". There was also another cut-short version of this logo without the music, only lasted five seconds and has the voiceover saying "Don't miss this timeless Disney classic from Walt Disney Home Video!", which then segues into a preview for the 1991 VHS of "The Jungle Book". This short cut-short variant can only be found on the 1991 VHS of "The Rescuers Down Under". This logo © 1989 by The Walt Disney Company. For fair use only!
