Make XP Genuine

Why don't you guys just do it the easy way, follow this

type in at run

C:windowssystem32oobemsoobe.exe /a

then after that go to activate by phone, give them the code that is there, then they will give you an activation code = it's what I did.. and I have genuine windows XP with service pack 2..

Thanks for the info, it works, But I wonder if windows will allow it to update or will it detect that its not a genuine copy.

i logged in. a little message popped up and said something like you have not windows validated, would you like to validate now? yes/no. i clicked yes and a blue window popped up and said windows is now validated (click ok) and logged me out to the log in screen.
there was no way around it!!
it locks you out for good!!
so dont do it!!

uh Ha! just wait untill those 30days of activation free are up, Then your screwed! it'll lock you out and theres on way around it!

start -> run -> regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows NT -> Current Version -> WPAEvents -> Double click OOBETimer -> Select all and delete -> FF D5 71 D6 8B 6A 8D 6F D5 33 93 FD -> Right click on WPAEvents -> Permissions -> System -> Deny Full Control -> Apply -> Yes -> OK -> Done!

well i did this and it only works during the 30 days period, then wen the time is up it wants u to activate but then it says it is then click ok then it logs you out

If it wasn't bad quality I would 5/5, but I think I'm gonna do anyway. The method to activate was so extremely well put and easy (and no need to download viruses :p).

this is the best video and seems to be the only one that works .. all the rest have you downloading a bunch of crap that never seems to work right for me at least thanks and nice vid :-)
