This is the "official" version of the ever so popular Visiting Teaching Movie.
I'm so happy that people are able to find inspiration in this video. It has COMPLETELY surpassed my expectations. This was supposed to be a simple video for my ward, but through the power of technology, it is now being seen by Church memebers around the world.
I encourage you all to use this in your lesson, I really have only one request:
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS YOUTUBE VERSION IN YOUR LESSONS. The quality is so poor, that it makes me cringe knowing that people are using it.
Soon, we will be launching a new website where you can download this video and burn to DVD or sync to your iPod.
THANKS:
Thank you to mormonweb.tv, who has posted this video under their account until I could get my act together. They have done a lot to encourage people to watch. Their video will continue to be posted for at least a few more weeks.
----------------------
UPDATE:
I am still working on getting a website together, but in the meantime you can download either the MP4 (for iPod) or the .ISO file, which can be burned to a DVD from any standard CD/DVD Burning software, here:
http://drop.io/visit
Comment if you need help with burning the .ISO to DVD.
WINDOWS: you should just be able to add it to Roxio or Nero. You can also download the FREE IMGBURN software, which I know will burn the file.
MAC: you'll need to change the .ISO extension to .IMG and then double click to moount the image, then burn with Disk Utility. (utilities/disk utility/click BURN)
Visit teach others as you would have others visit teach you...Which one of these visiting teachers would you want to have? I want the last pair after they see Christ's picture. It's about our sisters not numbers!

By Lucydoub [Affiliate User] 1223748963 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI love this video and would like a cd of it to show at a visiting teaching conference. It is adorable.
By karlenedance [Affiliate User] 1223677594 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWe have never had VT or HT do what is displayed in these characatures, but the worst is the VT/HT who simply doesn't bother to make contact at all.

By bandcglenda [Affiliate User] 1223610583 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis video really had me laughing, except when I was feeling guilty, that is. I am so glad it ended the way it did. I need to do better.
By gooses1girl [Affiliate User] 1223593013 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI think that the humor would have been more likely to prompt some self-deprecating laughter and a resolve to do better if the gray-tone instructional material at the end had been left off. We all know what we should do.
By chiufam [Affiliate User] 1223590818 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeexcellent - a real thought provoker
By ubershrew [Affiliate User] 1223583423 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDo unto others as you would have others do unto you...which one of these visiting teachers would you want to have? I want visiting teachers like the last example in this video (after they see Christ's picture)
By mexicanchicka001 [Affiliate User] 1223581992 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMake sure you watch the whole thing. If you only watch the first 5 minutes, you'll miss the real message. Great short message that should help everyone do a better job serving one another.

By skareishere [Affiliate User] 1223567529 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis was really good! I laughed and then cried!
By jubilantjourney [Affiliate User] 1223567204 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveA video version of the Relief Society skits we used to do... While it seems cute, I would like to believe we are beyond the caricatures of poor VT. We could learn from our General Authorities who always accentuate the positive.
