    Good is good and bad is bad, no matter how you dice or slice it. I still don't like Gideon. I'm sure he could kept the balance somehow with making a deal only on his good side. That's my opinion though.

    maybe the good world Gideon wasn't so bad. I mean when you look at it objectively, then he did what he thought was best to keep the balance. No matter what it took. But we see the show and we like the characters so we identify with their emotions. Nobody hurts Chris and Wyatt.

    So it wasn't that he was bad or evil...he just wanted to keep the balance, even if it meant making a deal with his evil half.

    at least thats how I see it...
