Wireless Antennae

4 years ago i started experimenting with a design like this, "2 el phased quad" the results were great after some trial and error & some antenna analyzer equipment this kind of antenna proved itself as big winner. accompanied with a 60cm dish and city conditions we manage to get 98% of signal strength in a distance of 8Km.

This antenna has to be tuned, one cannot make it
within mechanical tolerances small enough to fit in resonance frequency and impedance.
It will work, but far from optimum, normally.
One must tweak the distance from the base plate,
only your design does not allow for that.

Well if you can record the crappy music why not narrate the process ... waste of time

this crap dish wifi doesnt work well at all, I recommend you spend 50 bucks and buy a premade 24dbi grid antenna, go to home depot, spent 30 bucks on a fence pole to use as a mast and some anchors. The buy 50ft of LMR400 cable and a pigtail.

i can see AP's from 4km away with a parabolic antenna.

i love this antennae it worked far better than anything on the market :D love to see a visiual on this and see some tips on making it ;)

double-quads never work for me :(
