I suposs you would need the enzymes if you were going to use wheat flour that has already been cooked (day old bread)My question is. Would I need to cook it again ? Or just desolve the bread in water and add the enzymes ? Then for how long before adding the yeast ? Then the big question. Where do I get the enzymes and is there more than one kind ?
Thanks for your help and this is one great video.

    • hope this can help u

hi, i still have questions, but, i already made my own ethanol at home, and mostly thanks to jsteinsultz, the rest, well lots of theory and wikipedia, lol. well you must get a certain amount of cane, i bought 2 kilograms, i think that's like 5 pounds, sorry i'm not sure, well, you buy that, then must get the leavening (for bakening) and that's all. first squeez the cane and get all the juice you can, then place it into a jar and add like half spoon of leavening, just a tiny amount, the jar cover drill it and place a hose across it, the other hose tip sumerge it into water so the CO2 can go out once the reaction stars, but, the air wont get inside the jar. then wait around 48 hrs. the fermentation stops, after that, congrats, you have fermentated substance ready to distillate. hope tomorrow or wknd i upload a video of that

The cheapest thing I've found to use is corn. You break the starches in the corn down to sugars using enzymes, then use yeast to change the sugars into alcohol.
