EDIT: People, it is a mantis SHRIMP, not a preying mantis. The big colorful thing is the mantis. What he is attacking (and later ate) is the crayfish.

    I was on the Gili islands outside Bali a couple of years ago. The sea was low (i speak bad english) so i was able to lift up rocks to see what lived under them. After one of the rocks this crazy mantis shrimp was.

    It was awesome! It was really hard to cath. It was all over the place. Fast as hell.

    Too bad i live in norway. Bet it wouldt live the the whole way to norway or else i would put it in a fishtank.
