i saw the movie in film class...this one has been cut thats all im saying.i read the book too and i make only 2 suggestions. 1-leave the integrity of the works alone. and 2-I dont need to be protected from that which I have the choice not to watch.i admit i like a little nudity now and then. im a red blooded boy with active glands.maybe i need a hobby eh??hahaha.i think the aesthetics of this adaptation of nabakov's book is still top notch even though it was edited.

It's not censorship; it's film-making aesthetics. The director himself made the montage that way because it wasn't that integral to the story-telling to show the girl entirely nude. Hmm, something tells me it's art that needs to be protected from you.

why !, her voice is so accomplished for the character, I haven't read da' book :/ but, still makes me wonder what if she played it differently, and u know, it's just ok like that, totally works, maybe the problem with u all is in fact the essence or her role, but her acting is gorgeous

I like the movie so far I guess but I rather wish they didn't castrate the main character.
