I tested the effect of plasma ignition on gasoline vapour. Some talk abour H2 enrichment system when introduce plasma to gasoline vapour flow. We can see the effect explosion and implosion on it.

Plasma Effect on Gasoline Vapour

  • Not convinced...

Why do you suspect this is due to H2 enrichment? I suspect that the effect is due to pressurized combustion while in the tube. You are not using pure fuel vapor, rather it is a mixture of fuel and atmospheric air. Because there is oxygen in the air and therefore in the vapor mixture, I would expect the plasma to ignite while in the chamber. This would account for the puffing effect as the pressurized combustion causes the combusted vapor to expand with each spark, causing the effect observed in your video.

if your looking for steam put 120v dc on a spark plug and put it in distilled water with alot of baking soda. try both polarities one is better thatn the other.

It was some soot on original gasoline vapour flame. When plasma spark on (at arc point) there is no visible soot at around the flame.

  • Thank you Ozicell. ...

Thank you Ozicell. I think if we could maintain frequency, keep the plug gap (about 5 mm) and add more vapour into the plasma system, we could get more powerfull flame that mean more efficiency of a combustion.

I ever done it, but the system didnot worked with water. I got only big loud explosion on water. Actually we need to crack it (water).

Excellent demonstration. Do you think you would get more hydrogen if you add water to the fuel?
    Thank you.
