Windows Vista Vs. Windows XP

I have to agree Vista has some neat stuff, but I had a hard enough time to get use to my XP not working with my favorite software, so I'm still hanging onto my older programs with my windows 98 dinosaur, who has the time or money to learn everything over again! I'm slowly converting to the new, but it's difficult to let go.

Stop listening to the crowds (that whole mob mentality thing is making ignorant people looks stupid). So it breaks down like this: IF Properly installed and hardware is fairly new (with updated drivers) Vista runs freaking awesome. Old software and or hardware, use XP. No, your Win 98 computer won't run it, sorry. Just b/c you got a bad install or don't know how to use it doesn't mean it S**ks . You're just stupid.

Look, Windows was tired of trying to be backwards compatible all the way back to freaking Win 95 so they started on a new slate. Hence all the software issues (b/c people using old crap). Fact: Vista runs more reliable and smoother than XP. (unless your computer S**ks ). YES, your hardware can cause the OS to be unstable. I work on computers daily and I personally use Vista. Install countless games/software with no problems.

vista needs more time cuz my grandma has xp when it was new and bak then i had a 2000 and it ran faster then after 1 year i got a xp it was faster then my grandmas cuz it was fixed

I like My Windows XP Pro SP3+Sata Drivers and over 100,000 drivers to choose from.

My computer is built vista, I have like, no problems, maybe you have a 1963 computer, or some really machine obsolete. I have vista for everything and I have ABSOLUTELY problems with vista.
