MY HONEST OPINION: Animal Attacks and How Americans React

Honestly I have to tell you that I was unable to listen to your opinion all the way through because like everyone else I was looking to see video, even if you were on video discussing your opinion it would be alright. In addition, Timothy's last name was "TREDWELL" not CARWELL. And he was not married.

Animals don't act out of spite,it's not like there holding some kinda grudge.animal have there own set of rule and if any thing they expect us to follow them.Most people and books tell you there are a set of warning signs that a animal gives off before they act.Most people say not to look a eye in the eye because they see it as a challenge.when people fail to see the warning signs or ignore them they kinda bring it on them selves.Heck even experts know they still have to be careful cont...

I saw a guy throwing rock at a bear and was attacked by it(XD what a dumbass) so the family went on a bear killing spree until they found the bear which was tagged so they killed it. How messed up was this?

The problem is we live in a very Disneyized socity, animals are overly humanized and expected to act human. Animals cannot act out of spite or any other human traits, people then punish the animal for not acting like Simba or Bambi. People need to shut off the Lion King, pull Bambi out of the VHS and to do some bloody research. But those dumb enough to listen to a fictional movie deserve to be attacked, animals are not human! Stop punishing them for something they can never be!

Lots of things destroy our views of animals. Mostly on tv like shows called something similar to "Extreme animal attacks" or movies like Komodo (Komodo was a cool movie though). Too bad some hicks think 'I saw the animal kill on TV so I'm gonna kill that type of animal. They're all dangerous.' Of course wild animals are dangerous! That's why they need to be treated with respect. You throw a rock at a dog and of course that animal is going to react by defending itself.

Well, that has worked in some cases. As for movies like Jaws and Bats, those are taken too seriously. Most animals don't attack humans unless they're threatened or they mistake a human for food. :/

Maybe the trainer looked like a seal. I know sharks sometimes attack surfers because the surfboard shape with arms and legs looks kind of like a seal. That could be the reason, since killer whales eat seals in their natural habitat.

But in the case of dogs, they can sometimes be reeducated to be less agressive, namely to be taught that they're not the Alpha.

One Example: My dad had a Siberian Husky that was agressive. He was taught by a dog psychologist to bark and yell at the dog and feed the dog after he ate, like an Alpha in a pack would to show that he was the Alpha and the dog was the Omega. After a few days, his dog assumed the Omega stance.

And I think pop culture skews our views on animals too, like Jaws.

Your pitbull bites a child? Euthanize it. Your cat has kittens? Euthanize them.
And as for predatory animals such as bears, sharks, etc. popular culture makes them look more dangerous than they actually are (For instance: Jaws. That movie as about some evil shark that got killed at the end, which made many people fear sharks. In reality, shark attacks are much rarer, and we actually kill more sharks than sharks kill us.)

I agree with you, animals dont have the same level of intelligence as us (although some people you really struggle to see the difference), so ofcourse you shouldnt kill an animal just because it attacks.

Logic and Americans does not compute :P Anyway good video I think the same. You can`t treat a animal like a human. Many people forget about that.

Well if an animal, like a dog, has a history of being ill-tempered, they're not safe to adopt except for being attack dogs. But in the case of the bear, of course the bear attacked. Bears get nasty when you invade their territory, it's instinct. THAT was an accident. As in the case of the tiger attack, the kids who were attacked were drunk and throwing crap at her. Of course she attacked, they pissed her off. The tiger had a history of being nasty, but still.

Africa? You mean Alaska right? Tredwell got too careless with the bears in my view. Not trying to be a smartass just correcting. It happens.

But if a wild animal had attack a person and got away with it, it would get the idea that it's alright to do and not fear men. Also they could teach their cubs and pups to do the same. I really mean bears, cougars, big cats, and wolves. Now I love wolves alot, but I would be careful around them.

People who think the bears should be killed after the Grizzley Man's death should know that it would take YEARS to find that exact bear that killed the guy...unless they don't care what they kill.

Also, how did that one kid got killed by that tiger? Did he apirently got into their gages or something? Was the kid as small as those blue freaks called Smurfs (I don't hate the show, BTW)?
