"Legalization will have no effect on street prostitution" Legalization, (which I assume you don't know what it means) is not intended to minimize or affect prostitution in any way. Legalization means simply removing the legal penalties for doing it. In simpler terms, it will no longer be a crime. It rids the legal system of unnecessary costs and instead focuses law enforcement's efforts on other non-victimless crimes.

That's great and all. But what do you think will happen with the underage, diseased, addicted and felon hookers? You think if they don't qualify for 'regulated' prostitution that they'll go get a job at McDonald's? No - they'll be hooking anyway. Legalization has virtually no effect on street prostitution.
