Natural Horsemanship

ive known horses to be mean on purpose, they are very smart, my horse scares my mum because she finds it funny, and one of my friends horses is very nasty and men even though she does everything to try and make him happy, so animals can just be jerks, its not always the humans fault

see now i understand all of this because i do parelli, but i dont like that fact that u put bits up as maknig horses unhappy, bits dont cause pain if you use them correctly, if i were to take the bit out of my thoroughbreds mouth, he'd kill me, because even tho we adore each other and would do anything for each other, he doesn't understand that he has to slow down after a gallop because of being backed by pikeys, he doesnt mean to do it, but he could cause serious injury to me

with parelli u dont use ur bridle to stop ur horse. its done using ur seat. i also do dressage jumping and xc but i dont have to bit my pony up with gadgets coz he trusts me. we do NH it really is great!!

i think its ok to do dressage and jumping but u should not have to bit ur horse up coz if they REALLY trust u and want to workwith u then they wont pull/buck/rear.
i do NH but i have a really mild bit like a snaffle for my pony. Xgreat vid!! 5*XX
