Well, "Ayaka's English Conversation Assault" still warrants that the situation be sudden and unexpected, which is not the case when they film two segments one right after the other and pretend like the first never happened. I still love these, and I'm delighted to have them translated and posted here on YT for easy access... but they were trying to fool someone. I can't imagine whom though.

Well, the translation from 'Ayaka no totsugeki eikaiwa' to 'Ayaka's surprise english lesson' isn't a correct translation, I'd say.

oh of course, I know what u mean now. it's this 中
it's pronounced chuu/naka and means middle/inside/in the process.
for example middle school would be 中学

目(oronounced "me") means eye(s). As for the cross with 2 squares on the side,hmm I cant recall any kanji like that.
