It's MY Life Now Ch Six Pt One

hey guys, sooo sorry i didn't post sooner. i would've posted during my Spring Break, but i left my flash drive at my dad's, while i was at my mom's, so i couldn't. and the other two weeks, i was with my dad, and i couldn't get on the comp to post. i would have posted earlier today, but i got a new book tadoay... and finished it. also, i got sick from this guy at my school. and i couldn't post yesterday cause i was on a feild trip to Dollywood and didn't get back till late. so, i'll try to post a couple chapters this weekend, and to post more often... anyay, enjoy!

When we woke up, Emily was gone. Her mom mustve already picked her up. Weird, she wasnt supposed to do that till 10:30. Then I looked at the clock. 11:55. OH CRAP! We had to get ready NOW! We had to be at the Battle of the Bands stage at 1:00 to do sound check and everything.
I quickly woke up Amy and Jessie. Once they looked at the clock, the jumped out of bed. We rushed through breakfast and jumped into different showers (we have 5. why? I dunno) When we got out, we all quickly dried our hair and went to get dresses. I am wearing a blue shirt with white shorts. Amys wearing a light green top with a denim skirt, and Jessies wearing a pink top with a white skirt. Aidan and Kyle are wearing khaki shorts and random t-shirts that are black, white, orange, or red.
We quickly brushed our teeth and put on makeup. When we looked at the clock again, it was 12:40. Luck for us, our equipment was already there.
We were already downstairs, so I grabbed my sandals, Amy grabbed her converse, and Jessie grabbed her flip-flops and keys. Quickly, we raced out to her red convertible and started driving there.
About five minutes later, I got a text from Kyle asking where we were.
about 10 min away I texted back. Aiden there yet?

I slammed my phone shut and jumped out of the car. When we were all out, Jessie, Amy and I hurriedly went inside. After a minute of oohing and aahing, we went to the stage and did sound check.
The actual show was starting a 3 so we wandered around for awhile. There are a LOT of bands here, and a lot of them are really good. Some of the bands are: Unidentified, Soul Sisters, Screaming Monkeys, Tullipopper (dont ask, my friend made it up), Redemption, Blue Fate, Dancing Salamanders, and Billy Bob and the Banjo Boys (a girl at my school made that up, lol). There were a lot of others too, too many to count though. But, if I had to guess, Id say about 30 different bands were there. Listening to them practice, Id say that the best were Unidentified, Screaming Monkeys, and Tullipopper. I started to get really nervous, and almost threw up when it was time to go up, luckily, though, I didnt, and we had a rocking show singing a song that we wrote earlier this year.
