Rosalina: Whatever! -She grabbed a banana and ran upstairs.-

Rosalina checked the time. 8:15. She texted Nat telling him to start up his web cam as she started up hers.

She waited for a few minutes then Nats face came into view.

Rosalina threw her banana in the trash then sat back at her desk.

Rosalina: Hi.

Nat: Whats wrong?

Rosalina: Everything.

Nat: Hm. Really?

Rosalina: Were leaving in a week and a half.

Nat: What?

Rosalina: I know!

Nat: Oh man. Even a couple days without you.

Rosalina: Im a mess. And now Croy has my mom convinced that Ive gone anorexic over the tour!

Nat: Are you kidding me?

Rosalina: I know! -She stood up.- Do I look anorexic to you? -She turned in a circle slowly.-

Nat: Not to me.

Rosalina sat back in her chair and sighed.

Rosalina: So, they didnt make me dinner.

Nat: You missed dinner?

Rosalina: Yeah, I just had a banana but Im so hungry.

Nat: Go get more food.

Rosalina: Stay there.

Nat: I will.

Rosalina got up and went downstairs.

Laura and Croy were doing the dishes.

Rosalina opened a cabinet.

Laura: What are you looking for, Rosie?

Rosalina: Where did those Doritos go that you bought the other day?

Laura: Croy disposed of them.

Rosalina: Why? They were perfectly fine.

Laura: No, theyre very fattening when trying to watch your figure.

Rosalina: But Im not.

Laura: Well, I am and so is Croy.

Rosalina: So, why cant I eat them?

Laura: Youre watching your figure!

Rosalina: No Im not!

Laura: Have an apple instead.

Rosalina: Fine, I will.

She reached for an apple on the counter.

Laura: Sorry. 8:20, kitchen is now closed.

Rosalina: What?

Laura: No food for anyone after 8:20.

Rosalina: Since when?

Laura: Croy thought of it.

Croy: Thats right. Studies show that eating after 8:20 can mess up your eating patterns.

Rosalina: I dont care -She reached for the fridge handle.-

Laura: No food, Rosalina.

Rosalina: Im hungry!

Laura: You had your chance to eat dinner!

Rosalina: You didnt make me any dinner!

Laura: You couldve made yourself something.

Rosalina: Uggh! -She ran back up to her room and slammed her door.-

Nats face was still on her computer.

Nat: No food?

Rosalina sat down.

Rosalina: No, the kitchen closed at 8:20.

Nat: Huh?

Rosalina: I dunno. Something about messing up eating patterns. And my mom threw out all the junk food because Im supposedly anorexic and watching my figure.

Nat: Junk food is the best.

Rosalina: I know. So, I reached for an apple and theyre like the kitchen is closed. Go away..Croy is brainwashing my mom.

Nat: So, you havent eaten anything?

Rosalina: Ive only had a banana since breakfast. I skipped lunch because I was too upset to eat.

Nat: Pack a bag. Youre sneaking over to my place.

Rosalina: You live 3 blocks away. And its dark out.

Nat: Just pack a bag for the night, Ill meet you halfway.

Rosalina: Okay, bye.

Nat: Bye -His face disappeared from Rosalinas screen.-

Rosalina quickly packed a bag and pulled on her own sweatshirt.

She made the bed to look like she was in it then she slung the duffel bag over her shoulder and opened her balcony door.

She climbed out onto her balcony and closed the door.

She climbed down the fencing on the side of the house and she walked around to the front and headed down the street towards Nats house.

About halfway there, she saw a figure coming toward her.

She couldnt see them clearly in the dark but Rosalina could tell it was Nat by the way he walked.

They came closer to each other.

Rosalina dropped her bag and flung herself into Nats arms. 2 days was already too long.

Nat kissed her head.

A couple tears escaped from her eyes.

She couldnt believe she only had a week and half left before she left him for almost 2 months.

She pulled away and Nat wiped her tears with his thumbs.

He picked up her bag slinging it over his own shoulder and took her hand.

They walked in silence for a few minutes.

Rosalina: This is so unfair.

Nat: Tell me about it.
