(Silent Hill: Homecoming) Drowning Ending

Hahahaha, you probably got killed 50 times by the first nurse and decided the game sucked because you lack the ability to develop battle tactics in games.

That's not necessarily prove that this is the true ending to THIS game, though. Many of the other achievements refer to the other games (Eddie's Legacy, Kaufmann's Handiwork), there's nothing to say this wasn't another clever reference, no?

This ending has a Jacob's Ladder feel to it; turning the entire game into a 'what if' scenario right before his death in the past.

Just a thought really...

Though, I do have to say, if you spent hours labouring over battling though the Silent Hill game, solving puzzles and being scared out of your pants, you'd get quite annoyed if you ended up getting a "drowned" ending like this one. Guess it's necessary though.

this game was crap i regret buying it im going to gamestop today and selling this crappy game to get fallout 3 or deadspace havnt made up my mind yet

This ending depresses me. I liked Alex and if the entire game was a hallucination its just too sad. Although I will agree its a very interesting ending and I'm glad they put it in the game, gives a whole new perspective.

so you're saying that if this ending occurs, alex has foreseen what would have happened? or maybe he felt so bad for josh's death that things were returned to that point before josh's death, so that alex can be sacrificed. it's kinda hard for me to understand the drowning ending.

what you mean is that he cut him in half for those of you that thumbed him down.

What the hell? Did Alex go back in time to when Josh was still alive in order for his dad to drown him? This is probably the most confusing of all the endings because the timing of the event seems so asynchronus.

I think that Alex was drugged by his father in this ending. so the whole game was a dream basically. That is probably why Alex didn't move when he was in the bath tub. I liked this ending, i guess its like a change of fate in Alex's perspective. Josh died in his dream, but he is the one that actually dies.

this is the correct ending.bcuz so many things in the game are about sh2 like some of the achievements.and alex doesnt have the radio or flashlight.well actually u cant tell but im pretty sure he doesnt.and i think alex is related with mary.this happened BEFORE alex killed joshua.the whole game was just a vision

Particularly as it's assumed the "In Water" ending of SH2 to be the "true" ending, and the achievement for getting this ending is "In Water"

This ending is what happens if Alex had never gone out on the boat with Josh, As in, the game events never happen.

This is, from a point, the 'good ending' as life goes on normally in Shepard's Glen besides 4 missing children.

but the father said that by drowning Alex he could save the Josh so I believed that Josh could be saved.
