If you are lost and injured in the New Zealand mountains, who can save you? Will it be the friendly Yeti who comes to your rescue or will it be Land Search and Rescue New Zealand?

So remember folks, be sure to tell somebody where you are going and when you will be coming back. Carry a rescue beacon, GPS, phone and all the proper equipment to for your trip to the mountains. Alternately, you could wander into the bush with the wrong gear, tell nobody where you are going and pray for the yeti to get you out when it all turns to custard.
