"I would never sellout and go into pop". Faryl was referring to herself as I said. OK, I'll say it, Charlotte did sellout to pop. You admit it yourself. Her classical voice is nothing compared with what it could have been had she continued with her voice training. You cannot go clubbing, boozing and smoking and still have a fine classical voice. Charlotte did all of those. Pop stars are renowned for their hectic lifestyles. Classical artists do not indulge in abusing their bodies.

which when she was talking about charlotte is actually calling her a sellout.
charlotte quit classical because she wanted a change and her album went platinum selling more than girls alouds last album lol
if you watched her show youd know she hasnt lost her voice because she peformed the prayer with josh groban and it was better than when they originally sang it because her voice has matured.

Faryl's use of the word "sellout" was in the context of what she personally did not intend to do. At no time did she say the words Charlotte sold out to pop. Many people would say that she did sellout to pop. I think that by her late teens she was not willing to follow the highly disciplined training needed to retain her classical voice and opted for a pop career. Her subsequent lifestyle ruined her classical voice. A pity, she had shown promise. I don't know how successful her pop career is.

A slight correction needed here. Faryl was not on X Factor, she was on Britain's Got Talent. That is a fact.

Whoa! there my friend. Just when exactly did Faryl slag off anyone? What Faryl said in reply to a question in which she ws likened to Charlotte was that she would not give up classical singing and turn to pop. She made no comments about Charlotte as a performer in either the classical or pop genres. She said nothing disrespectful of Charlotte ever. Faryl will not be the next Charlotte Church, she will be the first Faryl Smith. That IS a fact. Remember that name.

It isn't that you are comparing her to Charlotte, you are entitled to your opinion. It is leaving comments on a little 12 year old girls video that you cant stand her, shes so in love with herself and talks like a crackhead that are cruel and inappropriate. Most likely Faryl will read these comments and in some small way, be effected by them. is this the kind of influence you wish to have on a child? She has a beautiful voice,of course she is going to use it. She isn't trying to BE Charlotte!

faryl has a good voice but not as good as charlotte compare them both singing ave maria faryl doesnt have the vocal range or power charlotte had at that age.

Do you know what a fact is? None of your statements are fact, and regardless of whether you think your statements are true, it is a creepy thing that you feel it is ok to speak about a child this way. I hope you are not a parent.

I am amazed at the ridiculous comments made here against Faryl. Charlotte NEVER had this breath control and sheer power of voice a 12 years old! Her voice wll get stronger and her vocal range increase as her chest and lungs mature! Farly has a concert level voice right now. Her voice won't mature until she in in her mid thirties. She plays football and is a very natural 12 year old! Her Voice is far superior to Charlotte at her age! 1 in a million!

I don't think Charlotte is better than Faryl because she's Welsh! that would be stupid I think shes better because she has a wider vocal range and more powerful voice than faryl which you would see if you watched them both sing ave maria and charlotte has and will always have sold more records than Faryl who is another of Simon Cowell's one hit wonders.
