Shows how to wear it. It is made of 6 shaku (equivalent to 2 meters) long cloth. By tighting up the cloth, it becomes good swim suit. It is also used men's cloth for traditional festivals. Men only with this cloth run on streets. Some modern Japanese men hate to wear it because their hips appear. Traditional men woudn't care. When the U.S. occupied Japan after the war, they banned wearing it because it was barbaric for them to show hips in public. It was just like they did to Native Americans. Now Japanese are rethinking the importance of tradition.
