Haha, taking guitar lessons is cheating.

I think this is actually played in open 'D' tuning with a capo on the 2nd fret. You end up with 'E' but it sounds and feels better.

This is the first I've seen a guitar lesson on YouTube -- never even thought about it; but as a teenager, I remember taking many, many guitar lessons at $40 or so a pop (and this is nearly 10 years ago).
