I KNOW FOR A FACT MOTHER DIED IN 1997

Mother Shaw was a woman of prayer and fasting. It is believed that the mantle of prayer fell on her following the demise of Bishop Mason. As a young woman, She followed Bsp Mason close in ministry and prayer. She is a native of Memphis, well-educated, she is a graduate of Manassas High School which was one of the pioneering Black schools in Memphis.

She is a very well known COGIC mother. Her gift was prophetic prayer.

Actually MOther Shaw passed in the spring of 1997. This service in Greensboro was here final series of revivals and prayer clinics in 1997. After she left Greensboro she actually came to my church, Smith Memorial COGIC in Newark, NJ. Afterwards she returned home to Ohio for some rest. Right before she was to leave for the Women's Convention that year she passed away.

Mother Elsie Shaw died around the late '90s. I could be wrong...but I think she died in 1996.

She couldn't have died in 1989 because in another video, she was talking about President Clinton
