If you read your bible, you would know that the example in the bible is to breast feed your children until after the age of five. Abraham, and Sara are one example. GOD made breast and they perform as they should, TO FEED CHILDREN. Besides, who wants to drink cows mild that is totally full of harmful hormones, steroids, antibiotics, and ecoli? I fully support breast feeding for young children. The beasts are for children, not sex objects....

Breastfeeding has been known to up the IQ five to seven points. Milk is produced as long as there is stimulation to keep it going. You actually don't even need to have a baby to produce breastmilk. That's how some adoptive mothers breastfeed their infants. Obviously, you're not very educated on breastfeeding and the like, since you're making rash judgements on something so natural. Plus, it seems to me that name calling is usually done when one doesn't have anything intelligent to say.

Breastmilk has the appropriate amount of DHA/ARA in it that helps the brain grow, so yes, it does up the IQ. I mean, what's weirder, milk that comes from a human FOR a human or milk that comes for an ANIMAL? Cow's milk is designed to fatten up calves, who do not need much brain growth. This is what formula fed infants and toddlers get. Which is stranger and which is better? Human milk for Human babies/children.

Anyone else remember the old Harry Enfield sketch where he played a toff visiting his parents, with his new girlfriend? He was around 30 something, and his 'mother' said she was making dinner. Harry's character said he wanted 'Bitty' and after some reluctance, his 'mother' said okay as long as it didn't spoil his appetite. He then proceeded to breast feed from his mother, much to the shock of his girlfriend!

I was doing a class one day and an EIGHT year old kid started breast feeding on his mother's breast! I was totally shocked! NOT by the fact she was feeding him there and then, but by the fact that she was allowing her EIGHT year old to still do it, especially when there's NO MILK!
Higher IQ's my arse! Spoilt little brats is what they are and stupid mother's too!
My son stopped breast feeding before he was one year old and is top of his class at the moment!
