  • Collins=great ...

Collins=great drummer, great background, harmony vocals. Sorry, y'all but after Gabriel left, Genesis almost immediately ceased to be interesting or challenging. And Gabriel solo became progressively less interesting. Like The Beatles, the sum is/was greater than its parts-

  • They play their ...

They play their first two albums with the original four and Collins (love to hear some of their 'Trespass' stuff live), then throw Hackett out there up til 1978. Place the five out there from 78 - 92 (with Chester and Daryl). They were great this past tour, but I'd love to see a true reunion.

  • Thanks TommyGun1028 ...

Thanks TommyGun1028 for this. Wouldn't it be awesome if they got Gabriel, Hackett and Ant Phillips back for their reunions as well (Chris Stewart, John Silver and John Mayhew might be too much - Ant and PG would be the original 4 aside from Hackett and Phil.

  • Oh my GOD.... ...

Oh my GOD....TOMMYGUN you have completed me. I have all their LP's...now CD's and saw this magnificent band a few times with Mr Gabriel on vocals...blew my mind away. Selling England by the Pound is by far my most played album...behind Foxtrot, Genesis Live, etc etc. Where on earth did all this come from.

Once again thank you...so many memories came flooding back.
