I don't feel like getting into a flame war over a damn song. But I use sarcasm in the "Or did bad company ruin the song?"

I'm fully aware of the origins of the song. I will admit the messed up lyrics irked me a bit as well. But I like heavier music so it was forgiven.

I'm not a fan because they are mainstream. I'm a fan because of their sound.

Except they did mess up the lyrics, that's not good.

Dude, Bad Company wrote the song, exactly how they wanted it. If anyone did ruin it it would be 5FDP. However, I do think they did a good job.
And the Nine Inch Nails version of Hurt is ten times better than Johnny Cash's. Trent Reznor's voice belongs in the song. And i've heard people go off on how Cash's is better for the reason that he died after recording it.

five finger death punch is awsome and I love heavier music but acoustic songs truly showcase their individul talent's I really hope 5fdp puts out an acoustic album I'd def b in line for that
