This is in response to ppsimmons video "DID JESUS GIVE US THE NAME OF THE ANTICHRIST?". First let me state that I am a Christian, I do believe that Jesus Christ is the sole savior of the world, and I believe the Bible to be perfectly true. However I have a real problem with wild theories that claim Barak Obama as the antichrist (or anyone for that matter) using cryptic evidence and conjectures. Not all Christians are crazy people! Here is my response to ppsimmons video.

NOTE: I owe the observation about min-bamah (from heaven) to 1abrake, who made that point first in his excellent video response.

The context of Satan (the Antichrist) as lightning falling from heaven isn't that his power is weakened, rather it is a reoccuring theme found throughout the Old and New Testaments, and explicitly in a book Jesus would have known quite well, the Book of Enoch. Satan is a fallen angel - Christ merely reiterated it.

Why should we refer to a Hebrew translation? In Luke 10:18 the Greek text uses a Hebrew (not Aramaic) word fallen, 'peshuta' - suggesting a Hebrew origin. T

A few points. While Barack is phonetically related t BRK (blessing) it is phonetically more closely related to BRQ (lightning).

Regarding ppsimmons suggestion that passages referencing Satan are actually referencing the antichrist. This is not an uncommon interpretation of eschatology, as Rev 13:2 clearly states that Satan gave the Antichrist his power, his throne and authority. In essence Satan becomes the Antichrist as a conterfeit Christ - just as the Father and Son are one.

Good to see someone clearing things up. I spotted some of the faults in the video right away but I'm glad to see you dug down much further than I did. Bless you for removing the wool from so many eyes.

  • 1) Jesus is talking ...

    1) Jesus is talking about SATAN the devil in Luke "fell like lighting"
    2) Jesus is 100% talking about a PARABLE with the good wheat being (true Christians) and the tares being (the enemy) even though they looked alike on the outside..
    3) Satan is in Gen-Rev
    4) Satan a SPRITUAL BEING
    5) The AntiChrist is a LITERAL person (NOT SATAN)
    6) The False Prophet is ALSO separate.

If this was the case, Jesus would be saying Satin was the AntiChrist.
This is out of context and NON-BIBLICAL and is NOT true
