Bigfoot Patterson

Planet of the Apes is a very poor example of what you are trying to prove. Great make-up jobs for the day, yes. But the actors were still clearly human. The Apes they depicted wore clothes, reducing the need to hide stitching. Not to mention a movie budget at their disposal, yet Patterson with literally nothing at his disposal could pull off a hoax that still endures 40 years later? And Planet of the Apes came out 2 years after this was filmed and Patterson still comes out on top?

The "Patterson Film is a Hoax" video is an inane argument as to the authenticity of this clip. Hollywood's ability to create real/ or unreal objects does not qualify anything as realistic or unrealistic. Have you seen Planet of the Apes? Same time period pals. Film one of those costumes striding away from you at a distance of 50 ft. with a shitty Super 8 camera and overexposed due to harsh daylight, I promise it won't look much different.

I honestly don't care if you believe, point. I don't mind a good, healthy debate. But you come off as a know it all, and you clearly don't know all. Your comment about horses is a great example. Oh, and btw, Missouri is the show me state, not Montana.

It seems most of us here don't need the kind of proof that you do to believe that bigfoot exists! So Looks like you are on your own as far as finding one to prove this to yourself.. Sad when people still have the state of mind that if they can't see it, or touch it, then it doesn't exist. You GO FIND ONE!!! You seem to need physical proof.. or maybe your putting this on others because in order to find one you would have to think to hard and you might end up at the North Pole with Santa!!!

Dr.Jeff Meldrum has several hundred submitted to him for study, because his specialty is the study of primate foot anatomy. If a policeman tells me he thinks he saw a Bigfoot, I will listen. Yes, a body would be the best proof, but there is evidence something is there, and this film has held up to close scrutiny for 40 years

The only thing we have is a foot-print, crappy video (on all accounts), spooked horses, weird hair, hundred of eyewitnesses (sober...and drunk) and this post. Show me one dead or alive. The thing is not hard to miss. Nobody is being hostile. I would loved to be proved wrong, but without a REAL specimen...I am more right than all the audio and video combined. By the way...Santa Clause is coming to town. Come on people! PROVE ME WRONG!!! GO GET ONE!!!

I never knew to what end until I joined this thread.

There are many reports from sober reliable people, such as law enforcement and forest rangers. We have a few options then-these people are jeopardizing their carrers (and many have)to come forward. Are they all lying, or hallucinating.Why would they do this? Or, they are witnessing an individual in an ape suit, walking in front of armed people. To what end? At the risk of being shot, they are willing to pull this prank? Does that add up?

I always find it funny that the skeptics get hostile when faced with facts. I really don't care you don't believe, but some things you say can be debated, why do you have a problem with that? You have to face the fact there are 2 sides to this issue and many things you put out there have been discussed many times.
Nothing you've shown me says that Bigfoot can't exist. I don't KNOW that it does, although personally I think so. Live with it.

Indeed! If nature did not have a very efficient way of disposing of corpses, the forest floor would be littered with carcasses.
Walk through a forest, Splatter. Tell me how many carcasses you find. Not to say you won't get lucky, but you may begin to understand that not having a Bigfoot body is not a conclusive arguement.

So you think that we should be able to find remains of one somewhere?? But since we can't you just call this a myth? Nature is a interesting subject! When something dies in the wilderness, scavengers and carnivorous animals have a wonderful meal.. Taking the remains of any animal and spreading them to various areas surrounding what would have been it's final resting place. Even if it had found a cave this would have taken place. So Nature took it's course... Myth, I think not!
